アイスランド航空は、どんなに写真下手な人でもオーロラの自然美などのアイスランドの自然を撮影すると「誰でも素晴らしい写真を撮れることを証明したい」と、写真下手なアマチュア写真家を募集中。

当選者には、アイスランド旅費全額（10日間）と5万米ドル（約791万円）を途支給。撮影した写真は、アイスランド航空のキャンペーンで使用されることもあります。

応募条件は、21歳以上の写真下手のアマチュア写真家で6月にアイスランド旅行（10日間）で、アウトドアでの体力を使うアクティビティや冒険に参加できる方で、当選時は旅行保険に加入する必要があります。また、応募方法は60秒のオーディションビデオをアップロードして、スキル不足の点（写真下手の理由）を説明する。

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a really bad photographer? You might be selected if you fit the following criteria:

・You have no professional photography background

・You have no special interest in learning photography

・You're comfortable using a phone or basic camera without overthinking it

・You're frequently disappointed with your own photos

・You're occasionally surprised when a photo turns out okay

・You're comfortable sharing yourself on video and in photos

・You like to travel

・You like people

・You're ready to be internationally recognized for your unique photography style

条件

This is who we're seeking:

・You must be able to take part in physical outdoor activities and adventures

・You must be comfortable hiking and navigating uneven terrain in spectacular landscapes

・You must have a valid passport

・You must have a clean criminal record

・You must be 21 years or older

・You must be able to travel for up to 10 days in June 2026

・You must be allowed to travel to Iceland, the UK, and the USA

特典

The selected bad photographer will receive:

・Approximately 10-day planned trip in Iceland

・Travel expenses covered

Key points of the Contest include:

・The Contest seeks the “worst” amateur photographer. Participants are offered to upload a 60-second audition tape, explaining why your lack of skill makes you ideal for this task.

・The Winner will receive a trip to Iceland, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and a fixed fee payment intended to cover every expense not explicitly provided.

・The Winner must be able and willing to participate in filming, photography, and other marketing‑related activities during and after the trip.

・Icelandair will record, produce, and use marketing content featuring the Winner, the trip, and any related materials.

・Applicants must meet strict eligibility requirements, including being an amateur photographer, 21 or older and legally able to travel, physically capable of the planned activities, and having no disqualifying criminal or legal issues.

・The Winner must hold adequate travel insurance and sign a Contractor Agreement as a condition of accepting the Prize.

・Icelandair has broad rights to modify, replace, or revoke the Winner, including in cases of misconduct, safety concerns, or non‑compliance.

・Applicants and the Winner may be required to indemnify Icelandair for costs arising from breaches of the Terms.

・Icelandair’s liability is limited, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
